Back After a Long Time<\/strong><\/p>\n After reviewing my notes, we last travelled to Italy 20 years ago. It was one of our earliest trips to Europe and the first time we travelled with family. We returned from Italy with many great memories, and we\u2019ve discussed a return trip for the past few decades. That return trip has finally arrived, after almost a year of planning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As always, we\u2019re at the airport now, waiting for our flight out of Vancouver. I\u2019m posting Part 1 of this series, titled \u201cThree of Us in Italy.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n New Look<\/strong><\/p>\n For long-time readers of my blog, you\u2019ll notice the updated design I\u2019ve implemented. It\u2019s been several years since I\u2019ve made any significant changes to my blog\u2019s look, and each update takes several months to implement. Just the new photo at the top of my blog took a lot of work in Photoshop before I was satisfied with the results. Overall, I’m happy with how it all looks.<\/p>\n We won’t arrive in Rome until tomorrow night, taking into account the time zone changes.
