New and Improved: with 96% more Blog

I’ve been thinking about doing this for some time and due to overwhelming demand, I have increased the size of my blog pictures by 96%. OK, I confess, no one really asked for this change but I think that it’s important to anticipate the needs of the readers. It’s a competitive world out there and I’ve read that there are close to 80 million blogs out on the Internet. Granted, I’m sure that 79.9 million of those blogs aren’t worth the mouse click to read, but I figure that I really only need to worry about a good 100,000 competitors. 🙂

Speaking of which, it has been brought to my attention that I haven’t touched my blog with any new postings in almost a month. Guilty as charged.

For what it’s worth, since Barb returned back home after her surgery, my mind has been elsewhere and I really haven’t been inspired enough to get anything posted. I’m hoping that things will soon be returning to normal for me and I have a few ideas that I’m already working on.

One of the ideas is somewhat radical and it’s something that I’ve been rolling around in my head for a couple of months. Very soon there will be a new travel series posted here which will be written by a guest writer. I’ve been thinking that it would be great idea to fill in some of the gaps of our own travel adventures throughout the year with other stories from some select people. The person whom I asked was in the middle of of preparing to go on their vacation to a destination that I thought that Barb and I would never go to so the request was sent out. To assist in the travel writing chores, I offered to supply my very own Dell Axim Pocket PC so they can write the articles and email me the text and pictures.

Personally, I can’t wait to start receiving the articles and be on the receiving end of someone on their own Excellent Adventure.
