Gambling On An Interesting Vegas Trip – Part 1

I found out about a month ago that I was going to be going to Las Vegas on business. This would be the first trip back to the airport since arriving home from our Italy trip. Long before I started to write this posting I knew that we wouldn’t be confusing this trip with an Excellent Adventure any time soon. The last time that I had travelled on business was back in February (see my posting for that trip to Washington on The Drudgery of Business Travel) and I have no reason to suspect that this trip will be any less of a chore.

The fact that I’m going to Las Vegas may on the surface seem to be a good location to travel to for business but, in honesty, I had deliberately stayed away from Las Vegas all these years on purpose. Vegas was just never a destination that I had any desire to travel to.

Interestingly enough, just about everyone I know has been to Vegas and with few exceptions; everyone has told me that they loved it.

I’ll get more into my opinions of Las Vegas once I’m there but realistically I probably won’t have a ton of time to sightsee the place – typical business travel.
